Cassandra Martynow is the U.S. sustainability lead at Sun Life, a global financial services firm, and ex-Director at pure play sustainability consultancy Anthesis Group. She has led the development and implementation of enterprise ESG and sustainability strategy for over two dozen companies from startups to the Fortune 250, integrating programs such as GHG accounting, renewable energy procurement, reporting, supply chain sustainability, climate risk, and regulatory readiness. In a previous role, Cassandra led the University of Chicago’s sustainability program through a successful relaunch as a platform for environmental research, education, campus improvements, and community engagement. She is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional with over a decade of experience in strategy, operations, and program management, a frequent speaker on sustainable business and careers, and holds a
BA from UCLA, an MA from UChicago, and an MBA from Chicago Booth with concentrations in economics, behavioral science, and strategic management.
