Women's Week Webinar: Peak Experiences with Claire Steichen
Registration is now closed (this event already took place).
For career shifters or those who have had an extended workforce absence, it can feel like everyone else has the advantage of greater experience and knowledge. That lack of confidence can make itself felt in networking, pitching oneself, and interviewing. The Peak Experiences workshop seeks to pull out core transferrable skills, (also known as strengths, and sometimes values) and distinguish them from experience or knowledge. Together, a cluster of strengths helps define an approach to work, or an employee profile, that makes it much easier to talk to HR and hiring managers. What's more, these strengths reveal themselves in personal, PTA, or any small projects we have done along the way. In this step by step workshop, participants will identify 3-5 of these strengths, along with the key for selling them to potential employers.
