Join area alumni for lunch and a discussion with Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, an economist renowned for his work on sustainable development and globalization. Dr. Sachs is the Professor of Sustainable Development and of Health Policy at Columbia University. He is also the Director of The Earth Institute, seeking solutions for climate change, poverty, and the sustainable use of resources.  In addition, he is the Special Advisor to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the Millennium Development Goals and author of The End of Poverty, Common Wealth, The Price of Civilization, and To Move the World: JFK's Quest for Peace.
