Over dinner, Africa Lead for OpenAI, Emmanuel Lubanzadio, will share what OpenAI is building across the African continent and lead a candid conversation about how MBAs should think about working on AI problems in Africa, policy, and the market, including where the real opportunities are, what skills matter, and how to get into the room.
Dinner hosted and sponsored by OpenAI Africa.
A special collaboration with the CBS AI Club and the Africa Business Club.

Adding your name enters you into a lottery.
It does not confirm a seat.
To be eligible, you must:
1. Hold a ticket to the 2026 Columbia Africa Conference, AND
2. Be a current member of either the AI Club or the Africa Business Club, or a [confirmed current] student in another MBA program.
[FYI, CBS AI + Africa Business Club members will be prioritized]
No exceptions, no +1s.
We verify every entry against the ticket and membership lists.
Entries that don't meet both criteria will be removed before the draw.
How it works:
• Waitlist closes [09/18/2026]
• Attendees selected by lottery from eligible entries
• Selected students notified by [09/19/2026] and must confirm within 48 hours
• Unclaimed seats pass to the next name drawn
Venue will be shared directly with confirmed guests.
The dinner is on the Columbia Business School campus.
Dinner and non-alcoholic beverages provided;
Dietary restrictions collected at confirmation.
