The Adam Smith Society is CBS's business and public policy club. Its purpose is to build a community of Columbia Business School students interested in exploring the links between the economy, government and society. The Executive Board will ensure continuity with the club mission and operations through event planning, membership management and internal and external relations management.
Students are exposed to diverse viewpoints on topics traditionally dealing with economics, government, and/or society. Access to a holistic view of a particular topic provides members with necessary information to take an informed position on the topic as well as engage in constructive discussion with peers. The club also provides access to thought leaders within the socio-politico-economic space through campus and national events.
