As part of the Leadership Development Series under the auspices of The Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership, this interactive workshop facilitated by LEAD Professor Ashli Carter is designed to help you transform difficult conversations into opportunities for learning. The session will walk you through an easy framework designed to help you understand why conversations sometimes escalate as they relate to sensitive and complex topics. It will also empower you to approach these conversations with curiosity, respect, and empathy to achieve a mutually beneficial, positive outcome.

Key Learning Objectives:
- Understand the complexities of difficult conversations
- Unpack strategies for handling sensitive dialogues
- Role-play personalized scenarios

Attending this workshop will provide credit towards the Phillips Pathway for Inclusive Leadership (PPIL), focusing on the DEI essential skill of managing intercultural dialogue.
