Bill Rhodes, an international financial diplomat and author of the book Banker to the World, was involved in every major sovereign debt crisis around the world up to 2005. He played a key role in negotiating a resolution to the sovereign debt crises in Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Asia in the 1980s and '90s. Mr. Rhodes will talk about the current economic and financial challenges facing Europe, and the posing threats to both the global economic outlook and the stability of financial market economies. He will also comment on Japan, China and Korea's economies.
