Join Jim Keyes '80 in a conversation about "Making Change...turning crisis into opportunity." After speaker remarks, there will be a Q&A session.
 
Jim Keyes is a graduate of Columbia Business School '80 and currently serves as a member of the school's Board of Overseers. Jim las led two fortune 500 companies and participated in a host of start-up ventures from in retail, consumer products, technology, and aerospace.
During a 21 year career with 7-Eleven, Inc., Keyes served in a number of roles including CFO, COO and ultimately President & CEO from 2000-2005, leading the sale of the company in 2005. Following his time at 7-Eleven, Keyes served as Chairman & CEO of Blockbuster. While at Blockbuster, he acquired a streaming video company and expanded "Total Access" for the company's media content. When his restructure of the company was curtailed by the financial market collapse of 2008, Keyes led a restructuring and sale of the company to Dish Networks.

Students are encouraged to have their video camera on and prepared to ask questions to create an engaging environment for the speaker and peers.

The meeting is limited to 60 students at a first come first serve basis. A wait list will be available for additional 20 students, should there be any cancellations. The Zoom calendar invitation will be shared within 1 business day before the event.
