As you progress as a student, alumnae, and/or in your career - in finance, business, law or corporate - you will encounter many obstacles and challenges. What game are you playing vs. what game should you be playing? In Rainmaking 101, dynamic attorney Lisa Zeiderman, Esq. and 13x National Pitch Champion, Precious L. Williams, are going to show you how to play to win.

In this workshop, as part of the Effective Communication series, we will cover:
- Age, race, class, sex, disability/differently abled-how to use your perceived flaws as a your secret weapon
- Understanding how to become the only choice that matters for the internship, job, or BIG opportunity
- How to get VIP's to notice you and take you under their wing
- How to package, position and pitch yourself even if you are nervous

Lisa Zeiderman is Managing Partner at Miller Zeiderman LLP, based in New York. A matrimonial attorney, CFL and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, she regularly handles complex financial and custody divorce matters, as well as pre- and post-nuptial agreements for high-net-worth individuals.



Named to the Crain’s New York list of Notable Woman Attorneys for 2021 and 2023, as well as a Crain’s New York Notable Diverse Lawyer for 2022 and a Hudson Valley Best Lawyer in 2022 and 2023, among many other awards, Lisa is a founding member of the American Academy of Certified Financial Litigators and a member of the panel for Attorneys for Children. Lisa is also a member of the Forbes Business Council.



In addition to authoring a well-read blog on Psychology Today, “Legal Matters: Understanding Mental Health Issues as They Apply to Divorce and Child Custody,” Ms. Zeiderman is regularly published in Financial Advisor Magazine, the New York Law Journal, and by the Forbes Business Council.
