RDIG is designed to facilitate the development of a community for those interested in turnarounds, operational and financial restructuring, and distressed debt investing. We seek to advance this community by bringing practitioners to campus who can speak to each of these areas and connecting students with alumni in the field.
As a member of the club, students get access to resources and recruiting in areas such as: 1. restructuring investment banking (Rx) 2. buy-side investing in public and private credit, especially special situations Examples of the resources include: A. Interview preparation for restructuring and credit investing roles B. Mentorship and networking opportunities with alumni currently working in the field C. Case study events led by highly experienced practitioners to build skills in analyzing, evaluating, and underwriting reorganization situations D. Credit pitching sessions that will help improve your interview skills and readiness for the investment industry E. Deep networks of students and alumni who have a passion for understanding why companies make mistakes, how to fix them, and how to do so profitably
