Join us for a CBS Silfen Leadership Speaker Series conversation with George Bitar ’91, Managing Partner of Rho Acceleration.

With more than 30 years of experience in private equity and board governance, George has built and led investment platforms focused on scaling middle-market technology companies. Prior to co-founding Rho Acceleration, he held senior leadership roles at BlackRock and Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, where he oversaw multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolios and managed large, international teams. Throughout his career, George has partnered closely with founders and management teams to simplify complex capital structures, unlock growth, and build durable, market-leading businesses. This discussion will be moderated by Costis Maglaras, Dean of Columbia Business School and the David and Lyn Silfen Professor of Business.

This in-person-only event will be held at Columbia Business School in Henry Kravis Hall, rm. 1040 and is limited to Columbia University community members and invited guests. You must present a Columbia University or government-issued ID that matches the name used on your registration to enter.
