Shelley is a senior leader with experience spanning private capital, technology, media, and economic mobility. He serves on McKinsey’s global leadership team and leads the firm’s Reputation & Engagement function, overseeing global marketing, communications, publishing, and external engagement across more than 65 countries. He is also the founder and Chair of the McKinsey Institute for Economic Mobility, a think tank focused on expanding economic opportunity. Previously, Shelley worked in financial services, holding roles in global markets at an investment bank before cofounding a private investment firm. He has been widely recognized for his leadership, including being named a Bloomberg Businessweek Ones to Watch in Investing and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
