A Conversation with António Simões ('01), Group CEO, Legal & General Group

Join us for a CBS Silfen Leadership Speaker Series conversation with António Simões, Columbia Business School alumnus and Group Chief Executive Officer of Legal & General.

Prior to joining L&G, Simões served as CEO of Banco Santander Spain and Regional Head of Europe, following 13 years at HSBC in senior leadership roles across London and Hong Kong. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, working in financial services across several geographies. Drawing on his global career, Simões will reflect on his leadership journey, the experiences that have shaped his approach, and the opportunities and challenges facing the financial services industry today.

This conversation will be moderated by Brett House, Professor of Professional Practice in the Economics Division and Senior Scholar in the Jerome A. Chazen Institute for Global Business, with an introduction by Costis Maglaras, Dean of Columbia Business School and the David and Lyn Silfen Professor of Business.

There will be a brief reception following this event for all registered participants.
