Chocolate is one of the world’s most beloved products.

The global market is valued at $123B with a projected CAGR of more than 4%. However, cocoa, the key ingredient in the production of chocolate, is under strain due to myriad factors including declining productivity in its primary production area of West Africa and changing weather patterns.

Join Matt Broscio, Sustainability Solutions Lead at Barry Callebaut, the world’s largest B2B chocolate and cocoa manufacturer, for a student roundtable on how sustainability initiatives can help secure the future of cocoa. Learn how Barry Callebaut is advancing its Forever Chocolate sustainability plan and addressing the challenges of building a more sustainable cocoa supply chain.

This Sustainable Operations Initiative (SOI) roundtable discussion is co-presented by the Green Business Club and Tamer Institute for Social Enterprise and Climate Change at Columbia Business School.

The event will be driven entirely by student questions, so please come prepared!
