The Deming Center at Columbia Business School invites you to attend the first session of its “The Art and Science of Execution” Roundtable Series, a sit-down lunch in conversation with Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co., Kapil Dev Bansal. Kapil Dev Bansal is an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company and a leader in supply chain planning for CPG organizations. He has led large-scale S&OP and integrated business planning transformations across industrial, CPG, oil & gas, and electronics clients, including building value-led planning roadmaps, governance and PMO structures, and implementing supply chain control towers and AI-enabled demand planning. He also enabled rapid reforecasting and scenario planning capabilities during COVID to maintain customer service. He holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT India and an MBA from UVA Darden, with additional training in data science, and previously ran a Singapore-based business delivering CapEx project planning and scheduling. He serves as a peer reviewer for international journals, is frequently quoted in major trade publications, contributes to industry media and conferences, and sits on scientific boards for international conferences including at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
