**This workshop is facilitated by University Life at Columbia University and satisfies the Phillips Pathway for Inclusive Leadership requirement.

In today’s global and diverse workplaces, the ability to communicate effectively across cultures is essential. This workshop explores the key principles of intercultural communication through the Intercultural Conflict Styles inventory assessment, helping students understand and unpack differences in communication styles, values, and expectations. Students will learn strategies for building rapport, avoiding misunderstandings, and developing collaborative relationships in multicultural environments. Whether they work internationally or in a diverse team, these insights will help students develop cultural
intelligence (CQ) and improve collaboration across cultural boundaries.
