SOCIAL IMPACT WEEK

Dinner at PS Kitchen

Join SEC + Gourmet Club for dinner at PS Kitchen, founded by April Tam Smith ‘10. PS Kitchen is a social business and artisanal plant-based restaurant committed to creating jobs for those marginalized in NY, donating 100% of profits to sustainable charitable work.

About P.S. Kitchen
Our mission is to leverage the power of good food and an open heart to lovingly serve our clients, employees, society and the earth. That's why we commit our energy, passion, and time to giving others a "hand up" rather than a "hand out." The work of P.S. hopes to break the cycle of poverty by connecting resources to vulnerable communities, providing tools necessary for self-sustainability, and building meaningful relationships with our neighbors, near and far. P.S. is a social business and artisanal, plant-based restaurant. We commit to: (1) Creating jobs for those marginalized in New York, such as clients of our partnering organizations, (2) Donating 100% of profits to sustainable charitable work locally and overseas, and (3) Providing New Yorkers with delicious food options that are kind to the body and the earth. Learn about our partners and impact here.

About Social Impact Week

The Social Enterprise Club (SEC) organizes a week of social impact-related events for the Business School community. Student organizers partner with peer clubs at the School to showcase social impact in various industries, such as the Real Estate Association, Retail and Luxury Goods, Black Business Student Association, and Columbia Women in Business Clubs. The event ends with the “Social Impact Cluster Auction Night,” which is a student-led fundraising night for Social Enterprise Summer Fellows.
