Creating the Agentic AI Ecosystem

Agentic AI—the next evolution of artificial intelligence—is moving beyond analytics and predictions to autonomously executing complex knowledge workflows. As agentic AI systems begin executing complex business tasks autonomously, the transformation of knowledge work is no longer a distant prospect—it’s happening now. From financial operations to corporate strategy and client services, the very structure of business workflows is being redefined.

This interactive community-building event will bring together AI leaders, operators, and business professionals to explore how to build, adopt, and scale agentic AI solutions in real business environments. In particular, we plan to feature Columbia alumni founders, operators, and business leaders to collaboratively shape the next chapter of AI in the enterprise. We are planning the event with the following goals:

- Fireside chats with Columbia alumni building and deploying agentic AI in finance, private equity, professional services, and operations
- Interactive discussions on real-world adoption challenges, from legal and compliance risks to workforce integration
- Community networking sessions designed to connect experts driving innovation at both startups and established enterprises

This gathering will serve as the first step in building a Columbia-led network of business professionals and technologists committed to advancing agentic AI responsibly and strategically in the real world.
