Are you interested in joining a nonprofit board but don’t know where to start?
This event is an opportunity for CBS alumni and students to explore nonprofit board service, connecting directly with mission-driven organizations that are looking for high-impact volunteers and board members.
The February 2025 Showcase will highlight the extraordinary impact of the Tamer Institute network, including organizations led by alumni board members and nonprofit executives. Join us to network with fellow alumni and students, while learning how you can deepen your impact on the issues that matter most to you – from global equality to local housing access, food security, economic and workforce equity, access to education and the arts.
Please Note:
Space is limited, and RSVPs will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. A full list of organizations participating in the Showcase will be released to registered attendees prior to the event.
Can’t make it in person?
This event format is designed to support in-person networking, and we are not offering a live virtual (Zoom) option. Instead, interested alumni who cannot attend in person are welcome to sign up via this form, to receive digital event materials, including information and instructions for connecting with participating nonprofits.

As part of your event registration, we’d like to remind you of your commitment to uphold the CBS Core Culture and Honor Code. This includes participating respectfully and upholding the CBS standards of engagement, responsibility, and professionalism before, during, and after the program. Additionally, please note that while we love to provide our students with meals as part of our programming, we ask non-attendees to wait until the event is over to enjoy our food. All leftovers will be announced via the ‘Scavengers’ Slack channel. Thank you!
