The Community Impact Club at CBS empowers students to serve the greater NYC community through education, service, and mentorship. We focus on promoting financial well-being, professional development, and academic readiness for underserved populations. We strive to help others build the skills and confidence they need to thrive—while fostering a spirit of purpose-driven leadership among CBS students.
● 4–6 volunteer programs per semester (on campus during lunch or off-campus); lunch provided! ● Opportunities to give back to the community through tutoring/mentoring NYC students and intellectually disabled young adults on topics like budgeting, interview prep, and college readiness ● Hands-on community engagement with students and vulnerable populations ● Build meaningful relationships through group sessions and one-on-one mentorship ● All events are PPIL credit approved ● No prep required for most events – just show up and make an impact! ● Create memorable service experiences while developing leadership and teaching skills
