The Family Business Club (FBC), in collaboration with the Family Enterprise Program, aims to foster a sense of community among students interested in family business. Membership is open to all, regardless of prior involvement in a family business, and our organization represents a diverse array of sizes, generations, and industries within the family business sector.
Students join a vibrant community deeply committed to the study of family business from various perspectives. They gain access to a growing network of actively cultivated alumni and exclusive events hosted annually by the Family Business Club (FBC). The FBC promotes the family business interests of students, faculty members, and affiliated individuals of Columbia Business School. Membership offers exclusive access to speaker events with local family business owners, site visits to family-owned companies, and growth and development opportunities tailored for students returning to a family business post-MBA or those interested in this increasingly important business segment.
