About Us

The purpose of the Media Management Association Club is to support students who are interested in film, television, music, streaming, publishing, theater, gaming, telecommunications, and new media. The MMA organizes a variety of activities for the Columbia Business School community, including high-profile speakers, company visits and career panels. MMA further serves as a forum for students with applicable professional backgrounds as well as students who are just fascinated by the industry. The purpose of the Executive Board will be to lead and execute in all of its initiatives in order for members to really get the most out of their membership.

Members Benefits

MMA offers students a number of benefits across industries including but not limited to film, television, music, streaming, publishing, theater, gaming, telecommunications, and new media. MMA hosts and provides MMA members access to tens of speaker events, breakfasts, panels, office visits, career trainings, outings, case competitions and conferences as well as providing students with support, mentorship and guidance through the internship and full time job search. MMA members are also given an opportunity to connect with individuals who will be working in the media and entertainment industry after graduation. This unique networking opportunity also includes EMBA members and Alumni who interact exclusively with MMA. MMA also provides education and networking opportunities for students interested in banking, consulting and other services with a focus on media clients.
