Campus Groups provides advice and answers about how to use the system here.
After clicking book room within the event page, is the room you want not there? One common reason this occurs is that the rooms that appear in the book rooms pop up window are automatically filtered for capacity. Only rooms with a capacity greater than the number you entered in the "Number of attendees" field will appear. To see more rooms you can either decrease the number you entered in this field or adjust the capacity at the top of the pop up window to "Any capacity".

If you don't have your event spaces reserved during the time that set up and break down will take place for your event... set up and breakdown might not happen for your event! If your a space is available on the Campus Groups calendar, someone else might book it. Please make sure to reserve your room for the time you need to execute set up and breakdown.
This actually means that the room IS available. If there is not a blue or green block on the room schedule during the date and time you would like to book a room, then the room is not currently booked by anyone else. The grey block that reads "Unavailable" indicates either that you have not been granted permission to book the room or that the room is not available for direct booking (only event booking). You should try to book the room via the green +Create Event form (instead of booking it directly from the room schedule).
